2023 Gala: ​A Night In Vegas

We will be hosting our annual Spring Gala on March 18th from 6:00pm-9:00pm at The Finch House here in Thomasville. Tickets start at $65.00 which will include admission, dinner, ability to participate in silent auction, and dancing. Enjoy drinks and dancing with your friends as well as an opportunity to learn more about our nonprofit and the work we are doing for the betterment of the community, in partnership with you! All of the proceeds of this event will go to support programming for the staff in each of the four schools as they support a wide variety of needs of the students in the Thomasville City School System (the need for mentors, food insecurity, clothing needs, academic challenges, behavioral needs, etc.)

Chair City Clash Wrestling​

After a 3 year hiatus, PRO WRESTLING RETURNS TO THOMASVILLE FOR "CHAIR CITY CLASH"! The event will take place at Thomasville Middle School and will benefit Communities in Schools of Thomasville in our mission.
The main event of Chair City Clash will feature long-time North Carolina wrestling institutions in a huge six man tag-team bout. The trio of BIG MONEY INC. will tangle with 3 living legends of the North Carolina scene, C.W. ANDERSON, ROB “BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN” McBRIDE and CHUCK “MADD MAXX” COATES. You don't want to miss it!!!

Luz Shoffner, Program Coordinator here at CIS of Thomasville, has partnered with Davidson Davie Community College to host a Newcomer's Night for Spanish speaking families that are new to the area to introduce them to the resources available to them in our area. These efforts help to bridge the gap in the language barrier for many individuals in our community!
