LuzAngela Shoffner
Luz’ Shoffner joined CIS on August 30, 2021. Luz is our new Spanish Speaking Program Coordinator who will be wearing many hats. She will be coordinating the Food Pantry, Teen Prevention Program, and help with Case-Manage Spanish-Speaking students one-on-one. This is a lot to juggle, but she is up to the challenge with lots of energy.
Luz comes to us from working in the Insurance field and teaching dance classes to children and adults. She is a Licensed Property/Casualty, and Life/Health Agent and enjoyed this line of work for the last 20 years and is now ready for a change.
She stated, "She loves the fact that every day brings a new opportunity to create connections that strengthen the community". Her father, having the same birthday, has had the biggest impact in her life. She loves to read, dance, play tennis, and has an interest in amateur Astronomy.
